Certification Program

We recognize how important it is for end-users of our software to have local access to high-quality consultancy services and training. To this end, we engage with an extensive global partner network. With the practical expertise of local partners, we forge a valuable combination of knowledge, enabling high-quality service to continue to clients in our shared specialist areas.

Our partners have broad knowledge about our product suite, having been trained in risk and incident analysis methodologies as well as the application of these in our software solutions. After basic training in our partner program, the next step for our value added partners to distinguish their qualitative skills is to become a certified partner.

Becoming a certified Enablon Bowtie suite partner

The foundations of the Bowtie Suite are the bowtie methodology and barrier management. Bowtie methodology* is an open method that can be applied in numerous ways across industries. Although the basic concept of a bowtie is not very complicated to understand and interpret, building a proper bowtie model that can be used effectively to manage risks takes good practice and experience.

To help build these skills, make sure skills are practiced and experience is gained in both methodology and application in the Bowtie Suite software tools, we offer a certification program for Value Added Enablon Bowtie Suite Partners.
*It is recognized that different guidelines of bowtie exist (e.g. CCPS), but certification is based on Enablon Bowtie Suite Guiding Principles only.

Why become certified?

Becoming a certified partner will help you build and maintain skills as well as experience in both methodology and software tools. By becoming a certified consultant you will be able to put your knowledge and experience into practice and deliver a wider portfolio to your clients.

Being a certified partner will enable you to distinguish your qualitative skills from the crowd. Once a level is accomplished, you may publish the according certification badge on your website to show your contacts your competence. Badges will also be publicly listed on this website in recognition of your skills.

Levels of certification

There are different levels of certification where we distinguish competence in methodology and software tools separately or in combination. Per topic (e.g. BowTieXP, IncidentXP) there will three levels of certification that can be accomplished. Below levels apply only to Bowtie methodology and BowTieXP certification for now. Other topics will be offered in a similar set-up in the near future.
